Bakery Walking Tour

A guided walk with artist Lucy Harrison and Victoria Dove (@eastlondondiary), who have been exploring local bakeries as part of ‘Breaking Bread’, a project celebrating bread and baking in Waltham Forest. The walk will visit local bakeries, hear baking related history and offer samples of freshly made bread and pastries.

The walk starts at St James Street station, London E17, and will visit 5 local bakeries in Walthamstow and Leyton, go through the Argall industrial estate and finish at Lucy Harrison’s exhibition at Lea Bridge Library.

The walk is approximately 2 miles and will take around 2 hours. It will be on flat paved surfaces. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring sun cream and water if necessary. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
