Walks taken in Tallinn, Estonia, using two Soviet era guidebooks, one from 1971 (in Russian) and one from 1980 (in English) and following their tours to the monuments of the city. The monuments were photographed as closely as possible to the images in the books. Where the monuments had disappeared, or where their locations could not be found from the descriptions in the guidebooks, their most suitable positions in the vicinity were chosen.
