The doors to the gallery were in the foyer and were opposite the doors to the BO1 lecture theatre. The gallery was a large space with a wall dividing it up, making one smaller section and one much larger space. The white walls showed the history of many layers of paint and filler, and the cream floor had lines dividing it up into squares. There were windows in the ceiling which could be covered by going out onto the roof and putting black material onto them. There were several electricity points. There was a balcony from upstairs so that people walking near the MA studios would be visible and audible from the gallery.
